You don’t need a motorcycle, a trailer or a cupboard full of riding gear. Day in the Dirt includes dirt bike rental and everything you’ll wear on the bike. We’ll help you get fitted when you arrive.

Planning a day away from San Diego? Learn to ride a dirt bike with CMX. We bring the bike, complete riding gear and professional coaching. You get to spend the day doing something new.

Get comfortable before you pick up speed.
Your coach will explain the controls and help you practice starting, stopping and turning. As you settle in, you’ll work on your balance and body position. If you already ride, we can help you improve the skills you’re less confident with.

Fox Raceway in Pala is one of the places we teach, making it an option worth asking about when coming from San Diego County. We also use Glen Helen Raceway and private locations. Call us about your date before booking if Pala works best for your plans.
Make time for a ride.
Book for yourself or bring someone along to learn with you. Day in the Dirt is $495 per person, including the bike, gear, coaching and riding-area access. Allow three hours for the session, from getting fitted to finishing your ride.

Do I need previous riding experience?
No. We’ll explain the controls and help you practice starting, stopping and turning. Your coach will build on each skill as you get comfortable.
Are the bike and riding gear included?
Yes. We provide your dirt bike, helmet, goggles, jersey, riding pants, boots and protective equipment. We’ll choose a bike for you and fit your gear when you arrive.
Can I rent a bike without a lesson?
Our dirt bike rentals are included in coached sessions. We don’t offer bikes to take away and ride independently.
Where will we ride?
We use Fox Raceway in Pala, Glen Helen Raceway and private locations. The venue depends on the day and session. We’ll confirm your meeting point after booking; call us beforehand if you need a particular location.
Can I choose Fox Raceway or Glen Helen?
Call us before booking if you’d like to ride at a particular venue. We use both tracks as well as private locations, and the arrangements vary by date.
